Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Introduction
Big Creek Concrete Incorporated ("Big Creek Concrete," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of people who visit this website or contact the company through the website. This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information the website may receive, how that information may be used, the service providers involved in website hosting and email delivery, and the choices available to visitors.
This Policy applies to information submitted through this website and to technical information associated with requests to the website. It does not describe information collected through a separate signed construction agreement, offline project file, or third-party service that has its own privacy terms unless that information is also handled through this website.
2. Information You Provide
You may choose to provide information when you send a residential project inquiry or contact the company directly. Depending on what you submit, this information may include your name, email address, telephone number, project location, project type, current project stage, estimated timeline, whether construction plans are available, project description, preferred contact method, optional notes, and the contents of messages you send.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not reasonably necessary for a residential construction inquiry. The website is designed to collect project and contact context, not financial account credentials, government identification numbers, passwords, medical information, or other unrelated sensitive data.
3. Residential Project Inquiry Form
The Request a Quote form is processed through a server-side Next.js route. Information is validated and normalized before the website attempts to send a structured email notification. The form includes basic anti-spam measures such as a hidden field, submission timing checks, length limits, input validation, and best-effort request-rate controls.
A successful on-screen confirmation is displayed only after the server reports that the message was accepted by the configured email transport. If the email service is not configured or returns an error, the website displays an error instead of presenting a false success message.
4. Email and SMTP Processing
This website is prepared to use Nodemailer with SMTP credentials configured privately on the server. The intended production configuration is an IONOS business email account or another authorized SMTP account selected by Big Creek Concrete. SMTP usernames, passwords, and other secret credentials are not placed in browser code and should be stored as protected environment variables in the hosting platform.
When you submit the form, the information may be transmitted through the configured email provider so it can be delivered to the company’s designated recipient address. Email providers may process message content and delivery-related metadata as necessary to operate their services and secure their systems.
5. Automatically Processed Technical Information
When a browser connects to the website, hosting and network systems may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include Internet Protocol address, request time, requested URL, browser or device characteristics, referring page information, response status, and security or diagnostic data.
The project inquiry endpoint may use the request IP address in a short-lived, in-memory rate-control mechanism designed to reduce repeated automated submissions. Because the site runs on serverless infrastructure, this mechanism is best-effort and is not presented as a permanent tracking system.
6. Cookies and Analytics
This version of the website does not intentionally include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral advertising tools, or a custom marketing-cookie system. We therefore do not describe analytics or advertising cookies that are not actually implemented.
Hosting, browser, security, or platform infrastructure may use technical mechanisms necessary to deliver, secure, or operate web requests. If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking is added in a future version, this Policy should be updated to describe the implementation and any choices that apply.
7. How Information May Be Used
Information submitted through the website may be used to review and respond to residential project inquiries, understand the location and stage of a proposed project, communicate about requested information, evaluate whether a project can be discussed further, maintain business records, troubleshoot the website, protect the form from misuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Submitting information through the website does not guarantee project acceptance, contractor availability, a particular price, or creation of a construction contract.
8. How Information May Be Shared
We do not describe website information as being sold to advertisers. Information may be disclosed to service providers that process it on our behalf for website hosting, network delivery, security, email transmission, technical support, or related business operations. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or handle a business transaction involving relevant assets or operations.
9. Hosting and Infrastructure Providers
The project is designed for deployment on Vercel. Vercel and associated infrastructure may process technical request information and other data necessary to host, deliver, secure, log, and operate the website. The source code is designed for storage and deployment through GitHub and Vercel; source-code hosting is separate from the information a visitor intentionally submits through the public form.
10. Data Retention
Website inquiry information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, evaluate a potential project relationship, protect the company’s systems or rights, and satisfy applicable legal or operational requirements. Retention can vary depending on whether the inquiry progresses, whether follow-up is needed, and whether the information is relevant to an active business record.
Technical logs and provider-level records may be retained according to the applicable hosting, network, and email provider settings and policies.
11. Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used in the website architecture, including server-side email credentials, input validation, secret environment variables, secure deployment practices, and basic anti-spam controls. However, no Internet transmission, email system, hosting service, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Visitors are responsible for choosing what information they submit. Do not use the project inquiry form to send passwords, payment-card information, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, or other information that is not needed for the inquiry.
12. User Choices and Requests
You may choose not to use the project inquiry form and may instead contact the company using the published phone or email information. You may also contact us to ask about information you previously submitted through the website, request a correction, or ask whether deletion is appropriate, subject to applicable recordkeeping, legal, security, and business requirements.
13. External Links
The website may contain links to external websites if useful resources or services are added in the future. An external website is governed by its own privacy practices. Big Creek Concrete is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of a third-party site merely because this website links to it.
14. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for people seeking information about residential construction and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly design the project inquiry form to collect personal information from children under 13. If information is believed to have been submitted by a child inappropriately, contact us using the information below.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the website, form processing, service providers, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will be revised when the Policy is materially updated. Continued use of the website after an update means the current posted version applies to subsequent website activity.
